Rita, from 1st grade, has been learning some new adjectives (the words in bold below). She made up some sentences to practice using them, and we recorded them. Great work Rita!
1. I saw a mouse in a picture
and he looked really meek.
2. A loyal dog will always be
by your side, like a good friend.
3. One day I was feeling
gloomy and sad.
4. Once, my Mom woke me up
early and I was really cranky.
5. A bashful person is very
shy.
6. A faithful friend will
always help you when there’s a problem.
7. A brave soldier fights in
a battle, but a cowardly soldier hides behind a rock.

9. Mountain goats are very
nimble because they can climb without falling.

A carefree person has no worries.

A careless person is not careful.

A wise person thinks of really good ideas and knows a lot.

Foolish is the opposite of wise. A foolish person makes silly
decisions.
